GitHub Data Processing
- We fetch and analyze your github's repository content for brand extraction
- We only store relevant metadata and brand-relevant information (descriptions, styles, design context)
AI Processing
- We use AI services for design analysis and icon generation
- Your brand-relevant information (descriptions, styles, design context) is shared with AI providers
- Current AI providers include Google (Gemini) and Black Forest Labs (Flux)
- Each provider processes data according to their respective privacy policies
Data Storage and Retention
ChromeShop.dev processes repository data for brand extraction. User data is stored securely using Neon (PostgreSQL):
- Your repository content is scanned, only brand-relevant information (metadata, descriptions, styles, design context) is stored
- Generated icons are delivered to your browser and are stored for service improvement
- Email addresses for waitlist are stored securely for service delivery
- Extracted brand information and styling data may be retained for quality improvements
- Error logs may be temporarily retained for debugging (max 30 days)
